Thank you, Yobibi

Today marks the last day as colleagues between Yovita and I. She quitted her job and is going to spend the rest of her life with the man she loves.

I still remember the first day we met. We totally spoke in English, like towards any other person. Gradually, she started speaking in Bahasa Indonesia to me because she said she's more comfortable. And because of her, I got to brush up on my native language. Even though right at the start, our supervisor didn't put the two of us together to work on the same things, we gradually grew closer, maybe because we sit infront and behind of each other, maybe because we came from the same country, maybe because we share the same thoughts most of the time.

She's a colleague, but at the same time a teacher, a friend, an elder sister. Most of my memories at Creative were of us sharing good times gossiping, joking and laughing together in the midst of work. She also taught me many things out of work.

I still remembered the day I spotted a diamond ring on her finger. She told me her boyfriend of 10 years proposed to her the previous night. At that moment, I was really touched and sincerely happy for her that I teared. That piece of news really made my entire day, even though it's really not supposed to be of my concern.

I know I'm gonna miss her a lot, now that she's gone. I have become too dependent on her, turning around to ask for her help whenever I encounter any problems at work. From now on, I need to become more independent. Life without her will take some getting use to, but I'm glad that in my life, I came across someone like her.

Luckily I'll still be seeing her though. 'Cause I'm her bridesmaid hehe. Most probably after her wedding, we won't be able to meet up so much anymore. This time, I'll put in more effort in maintaining my friendship.

Thank you for everything, from what I had learnt from you at work to what you had taught me about life.
